Big game is the trip serious anglers cross the world for. We fish it two ways — straight down into the deep, or spread out across the blue — and most big game days combine both.
Discipline One
Deep Drop Fishing
Heavy jigs and baits sent deep into structure, channel walls and the blue depths — where the true giants live. Slow, tense, and unforgettable when the rod folds over.
Targets: swordfish (by request, conditions permitting), pomfret, eightbar grouper, queen snapper, dogtooth tuna and other deep-water monsters.
Discipline Two
Offshore Trolling
A spread of lures run across open blue water for the ocean’s speedsters. The classic offshore day — long runs, screaming reels, and the strike you never forget.
Targets: wahoo, mahi-mahi and large tuna — with sailfish or marlin a real possibility in season.
