The Experience

Nothing between you and the ocean

A multi-day expedition built around breath-hold hunting on the reefs of the north — selective, by hand, guided one-to-one by watermen who have done this their whole lives. It is the most intimate relationship with the ocean we offer, and the most carefully controlled.

Eligibility

Experienced freedivers only. Your experience is assessed honestly at enquiry — if this expedition is not right for you yet, we will say so and suggest the path to it.

Regulation

The expedition operates subject to current Maldives regulations, confirmed at the time of enquiry. Where rules change, the program changes with them.

Conservation

Selective take only: what will be eaten, never protected species, always within the season’s limits. The same respect for the ocean that runs through everything we do.
