The Experience

Surface violence, on demand

Big poppers and stickbaits worked across reef edges and current lines — then the water erupts. Giant trevally hit like nothing else in the sea, and every strike happens in full view, metres from the boat.

This is physical, active fishing: long sessions of casting, working the lure, and holding on when a GT decides your popper is prey. Demanding — and worth every cast.

Giant trevally and bluefin trevally, with reef predators crashing the party.

Skill level

Intermediate to advanced. You should be comfortable casting heavy lures for sustained sessions — we coach technique, the fish supply the motivation.

Casting heavy lures for hours is demanding. We pace sessions, rotate anglers and mix in other fishing when arms need a break.
Conditions matter
Tide and current decide where the GTs hunt — our captains read both daily.

GTs are released in line with our sustainability standards. The photo comes home; the fish goes back.
